Usually when one establish an ISDN call the ISDN setup message has the details coming from service provider in US to establish call in mu-law.

The definity is configured in a-law at India end with muxes as intermediaries.
This is done to limitation of the mux at India end which works only in a-law.
The Call cannot be established under this condition

How can this setup be made working?

1. Can the service provider (say MCI )sends the setup message in A-law instead.

2.Is there any way by definity DS1/E1 card configured for a-law ignore this ISDN setup message (mu-law) and go ahead with a-law and the necessary conversion being done by intermediaries (muxes).

3. Are there any service provider which would work.

4. Is there any other way around.

Earliest response appreciated

Thanks
