Hello,

I have a customer with the following issue, on some of their 96xx handsets the Logout button in the Avaya menu isn't there so they can't log out an extension number.

Anyone know how this is configured or is it some sort or coruption?

Thanks.

check the 46xxsettings.txt file as they may have removed the logoff button.

Can you tell me what should be in the 46xxsettings.txt for the log off option ?
All 96xx phones connected to an ipoffice do not have that option!!!

Yes, phoneguy, can you show us the section of the 46xxsettings.txt file that has a log off option for 96xx phones?

Thanks.

But this says that OPSTAT is not supported on 96xx handsets.

Plus as shown is the default setting and this is how this particular site is set.

But thanks anyway.

That is what i thought too :)
Clearing the phone can be done too but takes much longer for just assigning a new extension to it.

It says its not supported on SIP phones. H.323 should be fine. I have some sites with 96XX H.3232 phones and they dont have a logoff button. Its done via OPSTAT.
