Hello,

I am trying to get some statistics (particlarly interested in error rate) on a 5500G stack.

In the web interface, I can go to Port > Statistics but it just shows them from then on.

Is there any way I can see logs since the last reboot?

I'm interested in looking at traffic on Vlan2 only (voice)

Thanks

I dont think you are able to get information like that relating to a VLAN but i may be wrong.

But you can get stats based on a port, i dont really like the web interface as i find it slow. if you SSH/Telnet to the switch you can run commands like "display interface gigabitethernet 1/0/1" which would give you port 1 on switch 1.

You will get an output similar to below:

It belongs to a link-aggregation. It is the master port
Last 300 seconds input: 333 packets/sec 165991 bytes/sec
Last 300 seconds output: 434 packets/sec 404654 bytes/sec
Input(total): 5238482136 packets, 3998766729470 bytes
1042202 broadcasts, 49681832 multicasts, 0 pauses
Input(normal): - packets, - bytes
- broadcasts, - multicasts, - pauses
Input: 0 input errors, 0 runts, 0 giants, - throttles, 0 CRC
- frame, - overruns, 0 aborts, - ignored, - parity errors
Output(total): 5258266718 packets, 2065101009748 bytes
24347051 broadcasts, 70123941 multicasts, 0 pauses
Output(normal): - packets, - bytes
- broadcasts, - multicasts, - pauses
Output: 0 output errors, - underruns, - buffer failures
0 aborts, 0 deferred, 0 collisions, 0 late collisions
0 lost carrier, - no carrier

If you have an interface (ip address) on the vlan you can get similar output the command is quite similar...

display interface vlan 2

-Blue
The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them
