550 5.0.0 access denied

When a emial server makes a smtp connection they get 550 5.0.0 access denied all the time, why? i have checked the relay thing and although a mailserver should be able to connect and deliver mail.I´m using Latest sendmail that comes with Mandrake 8.2

Check out the file /etc/hosts.allow & put somewhere sendmail:ALL in the apropriate line. It should work afterwards.

You are defenitely right, just add in /etc/hosts.allow and restart /etc/init.d/xinetd restart
