48 with voicemail 1

Here's a silly question. I have an Elite 48 in my house. I also have an in-skin voicemail which I use as an answering machine and as an automated help desk system. When I get messages, the message light blinks on extension 100, as it's supposed to.

Is there a way to make the message light blink on a BUNCH of phones, so that as soon as I walk in the house, several phones are blinking letting me know that I have a message? Right now, I have to walk into my home office and look at the phone... it'd sure be nice if the kitchen phone flashed also.

Hey Greg, Jump on NEC's forum web site and look at MW for CAR keys. Make the mail box light the CAR extension and put the CAR on all the phones as a feature access button. Call you soon! Mike

the way you have to do this is program in MB 4-12 Feature access keys on all the other phones and after you are done programming them you need to go to each phone and press FEATURE , REDIAL , THE LINE KEY , 1 , 100 , FEATURE and if there is a message it will light up on the phone
You will aloso need to go into MB 1-8-08 and make sure line key 2 is lit up on page 6 for classes 00 and 15

Note: Press feature 3 on a phone and make sure the release of the software is greater than 6.0
