Did anyone istalled an 4.0 lsp????

Because i don,t have it with 3.0 or 3.1!!!

Did anyone tested that with 4.0 if you pull the plug on the active server everything is going down, great bug made a call one week ago to avaya and no aswer yet..

We've had the same thing, all works fine, log in OK all registered until we do the sa Trans on the primary then cannot log into lsp. Other than not being able to login lsp works fine.
Have rebuilt 3 times, checked licenses etc, still no go.

In CM4 you need to add a dadmin user from the maintenance web interface on the server and make it a member od susers before installing the password file.

This won,t help after an save translation you can,t login again with dadmin.

Try to make a suser with a difrent name and only prof18

Greets Peter

Created several users, with dadmin with Prof2, others with Prof18 and all get overwritten once you do the sav trans.
The LSP obviously recognises the usernames from the prinary server - instead of saying login incorrect, it says

"Access Denied: User ID/Profile unknown to Communication Manager"

when logging in via sat after the sav trans

looking more like a firmware issue.

once trans are save to lsp, all logins that are active are from the main server, not the lsp.

the login's you set up would probably work if the 8300 is in lsp mode

There's a bug in CM4.0.1.

We upgraded to S8720XL Servers, with a smaller side with a S8300LSP. It performed the same way as you describe.

The latest service patch seems to have solved it.

On site again today and you are correct , now unable to login to the lsp using dadmin after translations were saved

any resolve other than upgrade to 4.0.1 :(

This new kind of login really sucks.....

What a pain in the ass......
