3com SS-II-3000 console problem

Hi,

Just bought this 3Com SS-II-3000 from auction and I cannot get into the console screen. I have tried many console settings but I still cannot get through (including 2400 8N1 with no flow control which should work with the switch's autoconfiguration). The device's IP is not set (so I was told) so console is the only way of getting in).

I have the logon and password if only I can get the console to work.

I think the console settings might have been messed up. Is there a way to resetting this?

Did you try 9600 instead of 2400?

i had the same prob, i d/l hyper acces, the settings are weird, it must be on 19200, and make sure you change the comm language to vt100 8 none 1 xon
