I have a MCD 5.0 with a remote office using IP phones. I want to use a POTS line in the remote office for 911 at that location.
I know a LIM is the way to go, however I was given a Mediatrix 1204 and a AudioCodes MP-114, and asked to make one of them work as my remote 911 gateway.
Most, if not all the docs I have found are not only several years old, but deal with configuring the gateways as SIP connections providing connectivity for remote analog phones/faxes (FXS).
Has anyone had success with this config? Any documents/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
