2N UPS Setup for 5 Servers

Hello,

I am looking to obtain two SU2200RMXL units each with a SU48R3XLBP battery pack and use them in a 2*N setup for 4 Dell Poweredge 2850 servers with dual power supplies in each.

Am I right in thinking that having the UPS Network Management Card in each UPS will allow me to perform a graceful shutdown of all the servers in the event that the first UPS has failed AND the second UPS has reached the threshold time?

Or is the 2*N setup ONLY for redundancy in the event that there is a hardware failure with one of the UPS units.
