2050 Handsets BLF

I am trying to get the busy lamp feilds to work on the 2050 handsets when i put speed dials under manager or at handset level i only get the green light when i ring. If i call someone who is on the phone using the same speed dial it just acts as if the i didn't press the key. the screen goes into call mode and changes back to hangup display on the phone.

Under manager i did say dial as action and 292 as extension and it works fine. what am i doing wrong.

Change the feature to USER and replace the ext number with the user name in speech marks ie... "Wonderwoman

I find it is often better to programm DSS keys Direct form the handset as follows

Programm
<DSS Key>
0000 - for pascode
cancel to delete current programming
extn number of user
done
