Quick question. Do I have to add all DID's individually in inc-call-handling if the digits match or can I have one command to insert in inc-call-handling to take care of all 100 DID's? (e.g., 4 1234 4 61234)

Depends on what you are trying to manipulate. It can be done with a single entry in most cases.

I am trying to manipulate the 100 DID's to match all 100 extensions so I don't have to enter individually.
What is the single entry?

if your DID range is xxx-ooo-1000--1099 and the carrier is sending down just the 1xxx then just setup your dial plan as 4 digits and create your extensions.. 1001, 1002. In that case you don't have to manipulate anything. If your internal extensions are 3xxx then you'd setup an entry that says anything number length of 4 digits... incoming number 1... del 1 and insert 3

that's saying anything coming in with a length of 4 digits starting with 1 will delete 1 digit and insert 3, hence 1001 -- 3001

So in my case since I’m at a 5 digit extension plan and the carrier is sending 4 I would have to insert
4 1234 6, 4 1235 6, 4 1236 6, etc… for all 100 DID’s correct? (My Ext 61234 & from provider 986-1234 Sending 4 digit DNIS).

Thank you for your Help Wpetilli!!!

Ok.. so let me try and understand... if all you have to do is get that 6 in front of the incoming 4 digits you should be able to put in:

num leng -- 4
incoming -- 1 (just putting 1 here should be enough)
del -- 0 ( if this exercise fails try making this field blank)
insert -- 6

and while you are making test calls, run traces on the TAC of the circuit to see what is coming in. Sometime's you have to play around with the digits. I just had this issue a week ago..

You the Man!!! That worked. I did not need to enter the del 0, I just left it blank.
Thank you so much!!!
