01A PR-MAINT - Internal Modem 1

I'm used to having a external modem connected to the DCE port of older G3si. On one particular one I have the following from the "disp sys-par main" screen:
MAINTENANCE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS

Modem Connection: internal
Data Bits: 8
Parity: none

Where would this connect to, an internal modem on 01A? Is there a specific port.

Reason I ask is because I'm getting "01A PR-MAINT

connect the telephone line to the last (violet/slate) pair of the AUX cable at the MDF.
