I cannot find any stuck buttons. I have disconnected the set and then reconnected it and the I/C line remains off-hook. I am unable to determine what has taken the line off-hook - pressing the relevant I/C button has no effect, neither does the RLS button.
I have tried the firmware update but no change. However, when I looked at the set I noticed that one of the I/C lines is off-hook, which is presumably why the set appears to be buy. The problem is that I cannot see why it is off-hook or how to clear it.
I have a BCM50 Rls 2 with a mixture of digital and IP handsets; these are in a broadcast HG. I recently enabled DND on Busy on all sets as users did not like the phones ringing when their sets were busy. This seems to have worked ok for all DNs apart from one which then showed as Busy whenever...
I had a problem when I first tried to register IP2002/4 phones to a BCM50. I found it was due to the phones bing set to DHCP-Partial. Switching to DHCP-Full cured the problem. The phone settings can be changed by entering the configuration menu via the four soft-keys.

Thanks option11newby, but I actually meant the 4 internal analogue telephone ports that are on the RJ21 connector. I had assumed that these would be available on the BCM50b (i.e. the version that supports BRI rather than analogue trunks), but I have been told that this is only true for the NA...

option11newby, do you mean analogue sets or analogue trunks? Do you have the Nortel part no. for the keycode so I can quote it to my supplier?
Does anyone know whether the 4 internal analog sets can be activated on the global model BCM50b (set up for UK profile)? I know the analog trunks cannot be used, but I cannot find anything in the documentation that says that the analog sets cannot be activated on this version, but my supplier...
