About an hour ago I did a show interface and noticed on the DMZ it said the line was administratively down. So I did a no shutdown and everything worked.
Thanks for replying back, Brent. If I hadn't have done it I would've at least saw your comment.
Though I have no idea why the dmz interface...
Hi Brent,
In your reply I think you may have meant to say 172.31.2.0, because I don't have anything on the 172.32.0.0 network. At any rate I added the following command to my config:
route DMZ 172.31.2.0 255.255.255.0 172.31.1.1
It didn't help as clients are still unable to access the...
Hello everyone,
We recently added a DMZ to our Pix. The only thing on the DMZ is a public wireless access point so our clients can access the internet and not have access to our internal network.
Clients of the access point are on 172.31.2.0 network and the WAN side of the AP is 172.31.1.1...

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried using replmon. In replmon under site A, there are only the servers in that site, but under Site B there are the server's in that site plus the DC in Site A. If I go into AD sites & services, the DC in Site A shows it has a connection with the DC in...
I have a win2k domain that has 3 sites, all sites are under the same domain name. Site A has 2 dc's, site B has 2 dc's, and site c has one dc(small office). Site A was the first site on the domain (and holds all 5 master roles), followed by Sites B and C. In DNS for site b and c exist all...
I will answer my own question. You can put the following link a html file:
<a href="notes://yourservername/yourdb.nsf">click here</a>
This link even works when notes is closed, it will open notes, prompt you for your password, and then open the database.
Hello,
I am trying to open a notes database within lotus notes by clicking on a link in a html file. Basically what I have is a welcome page in lotus notes, and that welcome page is a website that sits on an apache web server (not on the domino server). I would like people to be able to click...
John,
Thanks for the tip, it solved my problem. For some reason the client for microsoft networks wasn't installed. Really weird. This machine was on a domain when I configured it and then it was sent off to a remote office. Not sure how it ended up uninstalled.
Thanks again.

Problem solved!! I had the jumpers on the hard drive's set to cable select. (duhh!) Once I corrected this error I was able to load windows 2000 server. When I had talked to compaq support they said specifically that the onboard ide controller does not support ide hard-drives. The guy was kind...
Hello,
Just purchased a ml350 g3 server, and wanted to use 2 Western digital 20GB hard drives (mirrored) as the c: drive. Compaq support says that the internal IDE controller will not support IDE hard drives (only the cd-rom). So I bought a pci IDE raid control and wanted to set it up that way...
