Go into ACCESS via Start/Programs etc. It will let you browse access progs. 1st, use the tools button on the bar and it will let you select convert & then select the mdb. I wrote this from memory, but if you still have a problem send me an email, & i'll reply in better detail. Good Luck...

Andy- If I remember right: Create a shortcut& change target to source of access source of mdb /compact put into scheduled tasks. EX- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE C:\Program Files\Application\Name.mdb /compact Good Luck Bob
