We've had a rash of 3 or 4 phones over the last few months have this issue where during the boot process, they get stuck indefinitely at "Restart Application...". When replacing with a new phone, the new phone boots fine and works. Are these phones toast, or is there a way to save them?
Thanks
We are running IPO 9.1 patch 10. We have a few users working remote using Avaya Communicator 2.0.3.55. The rest of our users are in the office using 9641g IP phones. Whenever our Communicator users call each other, most of the time there is no audio. Very rarely the call will be successful...
We are running IPO and One-X Portal 9.1.10. There is an instance where one of our users is listed twice in the One-X system directory. Once with the correct extension and the other with another user's extension. The other user is also in the directory with her correct extension. If I go to...
Thank you for your time and suggestion. The extension is recycled and the trace showed the destination as the previous user's voice mailbox. I changed the destination a couple of times and it finally started working with test destinations, then when I set it to the new user's extension (the...
Yes, it is set up the same as all the others except with a different destination, and it doesn't matter which destination I set, it always goes to the "Welcome to Avaya" message.
We are currently running IPO 9.1.10_192 with 9641GS phones. I have an issue with 1 specific DID out of over 100. I set up the DID just like every other one, however, when I dial it, the call doesn't ring the extension set up in the destination, instead it plays a welcome to Avaya message and...
We recently upgraded our IPO from 8.1_69 to 9.1.10_192. The One-X service is running on a 2008 R2 server. After the upgrade, One-X initially syncs so we have all the current users, however, at some point, the DSML-Provider component failed and the global resynchronisation continues to fail so...
When our vendor upgraded our systems, he had some trouble upgrading the phone firmware, but we are scheduled to take another crack at it this Friday. I just think it's an odd issue since it only affects a couple of our 9641GS phones and none of our 9641G phones.
There was a post about this issue 5 years ago, but I wanted to see if there were any updates. We are running One-X Portal 9.1.10. Are the One-X chat communications logged anywhere, or is there an option to enable logging the chats? I've googled and looked all over our One-X server, but can't...
We recently upgraded our IPO, One-X and VM Pro systems from 8.1_69 to 9.1.10. Our environment currently consists of 9641G IP phones (ver 6.2209) and a handful of Polycom IP Soundstation 6000's. We were no longer able to order 9641G phones so we had to purchase the 9641GS model. I did some...
I'm still waiting on them to provide an explanation as to why this is necessary and instructions on the process to swap them out. They mailed the SD cards to us and they have been sitting on my desk for a almost a week now.
We have 2 units and they initially sent us an Excel key file, but the keys were created using the wrong unit's serial number so they turned out to be invalid. So, in trying to fix what they did, are now saying we need to install these new SD cards which, they say, contain all licenses that are...
Hello,
We ordered 15 IP endpoint licenses and 5 Avaya IP endpoint licenses from our vendor. Instead of sending an Excel file (which they have in the past) with the keys, they sent us a new SD card and said the licenses were on the SD card and we needed to swap it out on the unit. We've added...
Hello,
We have an IP500v2 unit running IP Office Manager 8.1 and 9641G desk phones. I created a short code to page all 93 employees' desk phones, but I'm reluctant to test it out since it exceeds the number of recommended users for paging. Anybody know what kind of problems this could cause...
