I'm not using anything to call out (ex. 9 to call out). The before issue the MGCP gateway was unregistering randomly, but now it's still registered when calls are failing. I am however using a wildcard "xxx-xxxx" as the route pattern which I'm thinking is the issue though. I've changed the route...
I have an MGCP gateway configure to call an HDX (POTS phone). Configured with a route pattern so I can call the POTS phone through the HDX (PRI), I cannot call from the HDX into the CUCM (unless I delete the route pattern). Of course if I don't have the route pattern I cannot call from the VoIP...
That's the only option I could think of..I didn't know if there was something I was overlooking. I have an announcer card on my HDX that has the capability, I'm just going to forward the number to the switch. Thanks for the help though.
Thanks, I have them on the server now but how do I tie the MOH to a directory number without placing them on hold. I'm looking for more of a personalized error message rather thatn MOH.
I have a pre-recorded .mp4 I'm trying to make as an announcer. IE: xxx-xxxx is called, annoucement is played. I have a feeling the .mp4 is not going to be the right format. I know when making ringtones it has certain requirements to it but I can't find my notes on it. Any help would be...
How many phones do you have registered? I've seen this when installed a big number of new phones on the network and we had to change the service parameters in ccmadmin. I don't remember the exact name but it was something along the lines of 'maximum number of registered devices' that we changed...

Had this problem last night actually, we noticed someone else was advertising our voice vlan so we fixed that issue but still no luck. Turned out to be a bad RJ-45 tip on the CAT-5. Also are you running DHCP or assigining them static.
I havn't seen it drop (other than when I restart it of course).

Forgot to mention the D-channel for the PRI T-1 is good between the HDX and 3825, I can watch the call route out of the HDX, and I have absolutely no experience on a Cisco IOS router!
I created an MGCP gateway, came up no issues and left for the day. Sure enough during the period of my absence, it no longer works. I've started from scratch and no unable to get it working again. My basic setup is an HDX with a PRI T1 to a 3825 router's T1 card...
