Problems installing perl 5.8.8.0 on AIX 5.2
We need to upgrade perl.rte 5.8.0.127 on our AIX 5.2 system to perl 5.8.8.0 (we do not have the option of upgrading the AIX operating system to 5.3). Why is one of the prereqs for perl.rte 5.8.8.0 a tcp.client 5.3 module? And will this hurt anything to upgrade tcp.client to 5.3 on an AIX 5.2...
