Ivan thanks for the tip. Unfortunatly still no luck :( had to dig it out to test. Running a cisco 3550 coupled with a 3508 its rubish lol. Any other thoughts would be much appreciated. Its just for my home network I suspect it maybe broken but I'd love to get it going just to get some...- graemedench

Hi :) Thanks for the reply. I've pretty much given up and switched to a pair of cisco 3508's stuffed full of gbics, But I will dig it out and post up the config. It would be good if you could have a quicl look and check I've not gone mad lol. Thanks again Graeme- graemedench

small update, I'm pretty sure actually there is something up with the switch! I can use the mgmt port all good just seems the main switch has issues passing data. Has anyone experienced this? I'm now hunting trying to find software so I can reload the firmware on it and give it one last try...- graemedench
