Actually your way sounds great. Usually when we have a datacenter issue, it affects all of our huntgroups and the purpose of the FEM is exactly that.
I see the need for individual, I may set it up that way as in the future if we would like to do something specific, we have that option.

We experienced an issue today where our datacenter was having issues which resulted in a very big overflow of phone calls into the queue.

What if your polling your network using spiceworks, what SNMP Community would we use?? Is public the default community?
Can we change the community from the 1608 Phone configuration files???
These 2 LANs are on the same subnet but connected/wired differently.
for example:
LAN 1: 192.60.5.1
LAN 2: 192.60.5.5
Obviously not connected on the same switch, etc..
LAN 1 fails (for whatever reason)
Phones will then route to LAN 2.

I noticed we have 2 LAN IPs configured where the 2nd LAN is not being used.
Is it possible to configure our 1608/9620 phones to use this 2nd IP as a backup so that if the primary LAN fails, ALL phones will go through the 2nd LAN in order to communicate to IPOFFICE?

In order to fix my issue, I had to to re-install windows, sql, etc..all of the .net hotfixes in order properly (I wasnt the one who initially installed it).

Would running monitor be beneficial to catching this issue, it just happened again this morning.
I will try tonight to delete the user again and this time also delete the extension and re-create it and see what happens.
We did change phones, I mentioned it in the original post. I just find it odd that is all.
Running a constant monitor on my PC hoping that when it reboots, the user tells me a time and I can back track it, not sure what I will be seeing though.

His phone would reboot even if I wasnt making changes in manager or looking at system status.

I have around ~60 1608 phones and 1 of them keeps rebooting.
The floor that 1608 is on has about 30 phones and that is the only phone that reboots. That floors phones all go to the same POE switch. VLAN for voice.

I am new to Avaya and VMPRO obviously so I would need to do some research.
I think the VMPRO solution would work best but how to implement is another story...
If I goto Forwarding for that user, I see where I can set Forward on Busy and on No Answer but only to a phone number..I would need it to go to voice-mail directly.
