We use the Meridian PC software for our console on the CS1000 and we are upgrading to windows 10. I tested it with windows 10 and it works fine but how do I register the software now that Nortel is gone? I called the old number and it comes back to a company called Affiliated.

I found the problem. Every TN had the same password of 7277 to logon. I changed the password for the TN in question and it works fine now.

Thanks Firebird. All of our phones have VOLA and VOUA in the COS. The user has his extension on 3 other phones, one is on key 39 on one and keys 5 on the other two. I never have that problem when I use virtual logon, not sure whats going on.

I have an extension that logs on using virtual office. Sometimes when he logs on it takes over the phone where his extension has an appearance. I have other people that have their key 0 on multiple phones, mine included that never have this problem. Has anyone run into this?

We have 4 PRI's in our CS1000 and after doing traffic studies I think I can get rid of one of them. I want to test this and figured I would just turn down the d-channel and loop of one of the PRI's. Do I need to get AT&T involved? I would think that the calls would still come in and if I ran out...

I'm having a problem with a remote site. The user says she has tried to get into the voicemail box and the system says not registered. I tried dialing in and entered ** then 11 (mailbox number) and then 1111(password) and I get mailbox not registered. She has been using this mailbox for years...
We had a problem with the lower buttons going out and also with the displays fading and you could not read them anymore. I contacted Avaya and they replaced all 580 of our phones no charged and we shipped all of the old ones back to them at their expense. Our phones were from 8/2008.
We are going to Geo Redundant call pilot, has anyone done this? We have a campus redundant CS1000 and high availability call pilot now. Does anyone have any idea how long this process takes to convert to Geo redundant CP?

I had the same problem. It turned out to be the network switch in the closet was not tagged for a phone. The phone did not have the correct IP and the system did not know where the phone was. I tagged the port and re-booted the phone and it pulled the correct IP.
