    Double recordings and various

    I have 30+ agents, and there is double recorded conversation only when agent calls another agent. My space is around 500mb every day, and backup is on Ibm TSM. To lower the space, try to compress the backup data.

    O, that is good news. Didn't know that, since last time a tech supp from nice connected to our StorageCenter, he downgraded TSM client to 5.3.00 - wich i don't know why. Maybe we have an old version of 8.9. Yes there is logg on SC, i could post a part of it for you to see.

    no i span vlan, and i found what is causing this errors. thing is with codec, so when there are a lot of calls transcoder (g729-g711) dont work well, so i put all recording phones to g711 codec, and it works perfect.

    hi nicetechie, i restarted logger, and now is better ( no e121401 and exp008). there are only this E121701 error left every 10-15 calls. thing is i realised that it mostly appears with internal calls. can you explain what to expect in wireshark sniff? i see there normal rtp conversation. bye f.

    Hi, i'm using cisco voip and passive sniff. phones talk with mgcp. i have checked that there is a lot of traffic on voice network that doesn't have to be recorded. maybe that is why some of calls in rush hour are droped. i was thinking in separating vlan with recorded phones.

    Nice 8.9 - Perform upgrade

    Hi all, We currently have Cisco CCM 4.1 with Nice 8.9 system. Our plan is to move to CCM6.1 or 7 in the near future. My question is it a must to upgrade Nice to Perform or could we stay on this 8.9 system. Also what could happen to "old" calls. We backup calls on Ibm TSM. tnx.
