Hello All,
We are looking at not renewing our Avaya Maintenance contract and using an outside vendor for support. I was wondering if I would still have access to updates/upgrades/downloads via avaya'a site?
Thanks,
Alan
FYI - This is how you can find and check the certificate.
Please check the following path on MAS to view the Certificate file.
C:\Program Files\Avaya Modular Messaging\OpenSSL\AVA\certchain.crt file
Open the cert and Check the expiration date.
Thanks for everyones assistance.
Thanks avayauser. I realize that I probably do not need to update the license, but there must be some way to tell what license I have or when it expires like you can with Communication Manager.
Should have put the version in, sorry. We have 3.1 that we just upgraded to in June of 2008. I think we are ok, but I would like to go to my boss with the actual date of expiration. Thanks again.
Hello,
I have updated the PKI file for our Communication Manager but am having trouble finding out if I need to for MM. How can I tell what the expiration date is for the MM cert?
Thanks for you help.
Alan
Hello all,
How can I find out what version of Communication Manager I have? I received the PKI email from avaya and I am not sure if I need the update or not.
Thanks,
AB
Thanks Ken, Yes I did. In fact it looks like it was saved in the wrong format. After changing the format it is working like a charm now. I used the OHV live mode to see that it was not playing the prompts.
Thanks for your help and replies!
Any ideas? I also just tried setting up a Caller app that is unable to transfer to ext. It identifies the ext correctly but gives a message that states 'This is not a valid mailbox'. Geez, I thought this would be easy! :-)
Alan
We do not have an operator anymore (love this economy!) just an ext with a mailbox. HR would like there to be options when people dial the main number to go to certain dept's. It seemed easy enough to just use the Auto Attendant in Mod Mess. If I change the ext in the receptionist tab, it will...
When I dial the main number, it does go to the extension specified on the Receptionist tab under the Telephone User Interface. I just can't seem to get it to go through the Auto Attendant prompts. Hmmm. Any Ideas??
Alan
Hello,
I have set up our Auto Attendant in Modular Messaging. I am wondering what I have to do in Avaya Site Administration in order for the Main number to get to the Auto Attendant?
Thanks in advanced for you help! :-)
Alan
