Theres probably some documentation on this, but I wont have enough time to look it up in the next few days, can someone give me the low and dirty on making a public distribution list?

I did see that much, Notecher, however, to leave a message on all of the hotel rooms, wouldn*t that mean whoever the poor sod is recording the broadcast message would have to enter 328 extensions?
Is there a way to make recipient lists?

Well I found the documentation but, as with all of the documentation I have seen so far, it suggests that Broadcast will go to ALL mailboxes corporate wide, I don't see any way to select particular users, or creating a broadcast-only list for our Hotel extensions (we were hoping to do a...
I believe the Class of service is all setup right, the broadcast box exists too, does anyone have a menu walkthrough for checking the mailing list and such?

I know there is a broadcast mailbox you can set up in AUDIX, we already have it set up, and that if you make a message for this inbox, you can schedule it to deliver to all members of AUDIX.
We also have Guestworks installed on this box, is there a way to make a broadcast mailbox specifically...
Ahh...right, Linux backbone = case sensitivity. Let me give it a shot, thanks for the reminder D.

So I'm having a little trouble here. I am using FileZILLA on our Telecom server to try and host an FTP service for the AVAYA S87xx servers to upload an FTP backup, but it fails, the error I get from the S87xx is:
backup: Performing save translation, please wait.....
backup: 40: FTP Error...
LOL...okay...this is goofy, I got it working, however, it took a really close inspection of the serial shroud to realize it was numbered in reverse of what was true.
I was wondering why all the pictures had pin 1 on the 5-dot side of the female DB9...
Also wmainc, that pinout IS correct...
If I remember correctly the 302C would work with either 4 or 2-wire, if its wired for 4-wire currently, try flipping it to 2 wire.
I know here we went from a 302B (4-wire only) to a 302D (2-wire) and the quality improved quite a bit, I'm assuming because of the newer hardware at play.
Other...
Edwin, I'm not making a custom RJ45 to DB9 connector...
I made a custom CAT5 cable that rolls over, and its currently plugged into an off-the-shelf RJ-45 to DB9 connector. One of our team members is off to test it for me this morning

plah? Okay this only served to further confuse me, I was told by a tech at my corporate offices:
8--1 <--and then plug this side into a regular DB9 RJ45-to-DB9 adapter
7--2
6--3
5--4
4--5
3--6
2--7
1--8
Then what the hell, I cannot find or make cables that will work with this, because I do...
It has to be custom? It can't just be a DB9-RJ45 connector?
I know the cable itself should go 12345678 - 87654321, but an off the shelf RJ45 DB9 connector won't work?

We have a G350 we need to stick a laptop and console cable too at some remote locations for a one-time IP migration project, however, I'm having a hard time isolating a single cable that works.
We have a (boatload) of those baby-blue Cisco cables, that even CDW refers to as a rollover cable (is...
Grrrrrrrrr....no matter what I do, the line to inspect "staff-agents" or "available-agents" ignores the bloody step!
This is so frustrating.
Do I need to have a completely seperate vector set up to manage queue and call-loading??
Like, vector 1 looks at hunt 50 then says go to vector 51 if...
Hmm...well, I tried to switch 'queue' to y, now if I force it to go to step 6, I don't get 'queue failed' anymore. But step 2 still fails to look at skill 50 and say "yeah, someones staffed, goto step 6"
Anyone out there who has done a few of these?
