    Auto Attendant

Mitel 3300 latest firmware. I have setup MLAA with 3 options when an external caller dials in. Option 1 is for people to leave a message, so if they press 1 it transfers them to a voicemail box. I have set up voicemail box 1 as a message only voicemail box. This all works fine with a...

    CCS Trace

If i only used the 22 at both ends to route the call over the SIP trunk and striped the 22 in the ARS as it left the Mitel. What would be the scenario if there was a call for example from the Cisco that arrived over the SIP trunk to an extension number on the Mitel system, but the extension...

Thanks for the suggestions guys, i didn't think there was an easy answer. I will look at geting rid of the need for the 22.

    CCS Trace

The bug fix has now been applied to the Cisco System and it has not resolved the issue, the Cisco System still crashes when a call is call forwarded to it. Does anyone know of a way of disabling call forwarding to a group of Ext No's. If so i can disable call forwarding to the Cisco System and...

    CCS Trace

This job has been put on hold as the Cisco Engineer has reported that Cisco believe there is a bug in their system. When he says there is a bug i think it is the fact the Cisco System crashes not the call forwarding failing. What I'm expecting when the job is re-scheduled is to find the call...

    CCS Trace

The 22 digits are sent as the two sites four digit extension numbers overlap, the incoming 22 is absorbed in the trunk. What is done in the Cisco i have no idea as that is being handled by a another engineer (different company) on a remote site, it's a little hard to get detailed info as the...

    CCS Trace

Can anyone help debugging a ccs trace.... The background, i'm connecting a 3300 with a Cisco Call Manager via a SIP trunk and all is working fine execept for one senario. When a Cisco device calls a Mitel device that is set to call forward to a Cisco device it crashes the Call Manager. Both...

    DECT ver 2

Just an update on this one, my site visit has been postponed by the customer as they have decided to get their MPLS network upgraded to ensure it is fully suitable for their voice infrastructure. So it is looking very likely that this issue is network related. I will post the results when it is...

    DECT ver 2

I'm glad you had it working on release 7, at least i know it should work. I've organised going on site in a couple of weeks, i'm taking a spare 3300 and am going to contect it locally via some routers to simulate the WAN link, i can then prove if it's a network issue. I'll let you know what i find.

    Caller ID

(Is it only certain extensions? Are you using COR and Route lists? i.e. some phones dial out through another element?) No it's not this when only default CPN is setup all numbers are withheld, i'm using COR and route lists but all calls are being made correctly through the correct routes. As...

    Caller ID

(Is the default CPN you are using part or a DDI range or a seperate number?) Yes the default CPN is part of the DDI range it's their main incoming number to reception. (Sounds like the exchange is releasing DDI but not anything else?) One of their other sites is using telewest and the setup...

    Caller ID

I've got this working but not 100%. All the results i posted in the trace have been with the number 0173XXXX500 programed in the CPN substitition as the default voice CPN (i've now changed this deault number to 857500). With this as can be seen in the trace it is being sent out as the calling...

    Caller ID

No i put the XXXX's in there to keep this customers details private on the forum, the number called and calling is correctly displayed, but as you can see the call_id is 80e1 should this display the users id sent out to the exchange.

This is the output for the edt trace vdsu namnum <plid> command for dialing a number then hanginging up before it's answered(i've put X's in the number to keep them private) can you interpret the Call_id does this show my 3300 is not sending the calling numbers actual number as the...

    Caller ID

I did try assigning a number in the CPN substitution under the PRI trunk settings to no avail but whether i had it proberly configured i don't know. Caller ID

I've two questions... 1) A customer has just swopped out an INDEX PBX for a new 3300 and the existing ISDN PRI line has been swopped over to the 3300. On the old INDEX when a user dialed out via the PRI the main site number was shown on the called parties phone. Now with the 3300 it is...
