I have already called our Backup software tech support and we ruled out that the backup software is causing the issue. We also disabled and stopped all the AV services but we still have the issue. Thanks for the info though.

I was using the ADMT migration tool but when I was doing a test migration it is telling me that my windows 2003 domain is not on native mode. Is there a way to change it to native mode to be able to do the migration?

When I go to the Network and Sharing center there is X going through the line that goes to the Internet but it states that I am connected locally but I can't get a ip address from my network.
When I did the c:\NSLOOKUP I got an error that the server was a Unknown server but it did give me the ip address of the DNS server. Any idea why it would tell me that it is an unknown server?
I checked this and the domain controller with the DNS is listed as the Primary DNS Suffix but I still can't add users from the domain to the workstation.
I am trying to add a user that I created on a new domain to a computer on the domain as a local admin but I get an error that the domain doesn't exist or is available. Any idea why that would happen?
There isn't a problem with the switch because when I connect another computer that doens't have Vista it picks up a IP address. Is there something I need to setup on Vista to get a connection?
When trying to add an appointment to a shared calendar I get this error:

The permissions are setup correctly...
