I am using the cisco VPN client to conenct to our PIX 506e. All users are configured exactly the same way except for IP pools and user passwords. One particular client is unable to connect after he has connected in from his home office one time in the past. I verified that after his client...
I have used the PDM vpm wizard to create 2 endpoints on PIX 501 s. After configuring both firewalls, they do not connect at all. I have reentered the shared key many times. The PDM log under informational view doesn't show any type of negotiation at all. Is there something else that I need...
I have 2 remote offices running SBS03 and the staff in those offtices use the SBS VPN implementation to connect to their offices while on the road. The VPN connects and works properly from most remoet locations. However, when the laptops are behind the PIX in our main office, those same laptops...

Yes, I simply followed directions from another post and entered an access list inbound rule and group and now it works great.
Thanks for responding so quickly,
I have recently installed Exchange03 internally on our network behind a Pix506e. If our server is at 192.168.2.104, what port access rules are needed to minimally allow incoming mail to the server? Most remote clients already use the VPN client to access the netork, so I am not concerned about...

I am using the cisco VPN client to access a 506e. Everything works just fine when accessing the network from home. However, after I establish a tunnel from behind another PIX on some other business network, I can not ping any servers or IPs inside my office. any help?

IS there a set-in-place method for accessing the PDM over an established VPN tunnel? https:/192.168.2.1/pdm.html only works while i am on a station inside the actual network and not while VPNing remotely.
Is there either a way to create a local policy to utilize and browse the local internet connection while VPNing into a PIX506e remotely? I do not wish to use Split tunneling because i wish to utilize the clients' local internet connections. Perhaps a recommended diferent client?
thanks in advance
