    SX-2000 Telnet issue

That is true. My bad for ignoring the network component. The 2000 Ethernet connections go to a hub (not a switch) which also has the CCM server connected on NIC 1. NIC 2 in the CCM server goes to their data network so clients can connect. Never had a problem until recently. Switching ports...

No external calls in or out

By POTS lines I assume you mean analog lines connected to the back of the ICP? More information is required: How many trunks? Is there an analog option board? Are all the trunks in the same hunt group? Can you remove an analog trunk from the ICP and maker a call out with an analog phone? Your...

    SX-2000 Telnet issue

I have a client with an SX-2000. They use telnet to access the individual planes to make changes. They have an issue where the telnet session on Plane B will log off and disconnect after 30 seconds or so. Plane A telnet works fine. Strange thing is, when Plane A disconnects it shows the...

    On-demand RAD message

After thinking about this, if the recording is not programmed as a RAD, then only one person would be able to use it at any time, correct? It would have to be programmed as a RAD for the conferencing feature to work.

    On-demand RAD message

dryaquaman, That is definitely worth testing. I'll post the results. Thanks for the idea.

    On-demand RAD message

Thanks. Does anyone have any experience with one that integrates with the MCD?

    On-demand RAD message

I had a customer ask for a feature I've never thought of before. They are a telemarketing firm and would like to be able to leave a canned greeting in a prospect's voice mail if they don't answer. I tried using a RAD transfer (RAD in a hunt group, agent conferences hunt group, releases call)...

    5610 Config giude

Hello, Anyone have a 5610 DECT Admin and Config guide? The link to the one on Mitel's web site is dead. Thanks

    Express Manager 3

    Thank you. You are absolved.

    Express Manager 3

It's Ok. The reason I wanted the software is so I could get a listing of all the programmed mailboxes and the number of messages stored in each. Can't do that from the TUI. FYI - I gave you the star.

    Express Manager 3

Anyone have a copy of Express Manager 3? I have an ancient express mess that I cannot access with Express Manager 4. Thanks!

    NuPoint MAS as fax-only server

I have a customer that wants to upgrade/replace their 8-port RightFax server. I am taking this oppurtunity to try to get a NuPoint MAS in there with 6 fax ports (they want their new solution to be virtualized). They have an older VM system that the higher-ups do not want to replace (budget...

    5020 Teleworker RTCS error

Hello, A customer in another state has a 5020 teleworker phone giving an error "RTCS gate err 7b170" on boot. This is a replacement for a phone that died recently. The teleworker IP is programmed correctly, and the server is working with all the other phones. This is MCD 4.0 and MBG 5.2...

    MWI Mystery

That was it. Funny how that particular feature flew under my radar for so many years. Thanks for the assists.

    VPN via VPN with VNC

Tried logmein. Same problem - I get disconnected from the office PC as soon as that Cisco VPN session is established.

    VPN via VPN with VNC

I have a strange issue. In my office I have a PC used for remote connections to our clients. It runs various dial up programs and the Cicso VPN client. From outside the office, I can VPN into the office, start a VNC session to the PC and then start a Cisco VPN session from that PC to a...

    MWI Mystery

Thanks for the reply. The part I don't get is 4307 is not in hunt group 4250 - only 2219 and 2220 are. 2219 and 2220 are keylines on 4307. Do the rules still apply in this scenario?

    MWI Mystery

Hello, I have inherited an SX-2000 with a T-1 integrated CallXpress voicemail. Pretty standard except for one thing - There is a hunt group (4250) containing two keyline appearances (2219 and 2220). These keylines appear on about 12 different department phones including 4307. If 4250 is not...

    Nupoint on vMAS

I got the config from the official Mitel Sales Workbench. Configure a NuPoint with 1000 users in vMas and you get a 57 port requirement. I'm going to call Sales Engineering on Monday and find out what is going on. It will just delay my quote by a few hours.
