    It's the motherboard because I ruled out everything else. It's not the video because I tried booting with a generic VGA PCI card - no video.     You know, when I read your post I thought "didn't this guy read what I typed?" ... but then, running my finger over the row of 7, there are definitely 2 whose metal top isn't recessed lower than the plastic like the others and are, indeed, bulging a little.
