    if you are looking for stability, features, vendor that's been there since day 1 PBX was invented, i'd say go with Nortel. not because of this is a forum for Nortel's products, but that's just for facts and for sure. their support is excellent, no doubt.

    lretrievers, the phone can only login when the handset is off the hook (as you suggested). but as soon as i put it down, the agent is kicked out again. what's the right way of keeping the agent logged in regardless the handset position? thanks.

    have you checked the RTR properties? i'm sure you have, but just want to make sure, because mine running flawlessly (isn't that agents' ADD beeping nice, eh? :-D ) plus there are 2 other places you have to look at: - server setup config (RSM ip addr) - multicast & port config that should do it...

    how do i login into an i2004 ACD-agent phoneset? i did it ok in i2050, by pressing the ACD-queue (3rd key/button on the right), then punching login ID then # (pound sign). unfortunately, that doesn't apply to i2004. tia.

    to add others' comments: - make sure to go to IE's tools-> i/net options-> security-> custom levels... and enable all (if not most of) active-X related & scripting options (i did all of them). - make sure proxy (if used) is configured properly good luck..
