I am programming a short code on a user and trying to get it to when someone picks up the phone to get dial tone it dials a hunt group. I have tried the ?D for the code and both direct dial and direct dial hotline and the telephone number is the extension of the hunt group. What am I doing wrong?
Ok, I have a system that I need to see the call log active on a phone for calls coming into the main hunt group. I have the call log box for hunt group checked and tested and no log is showing. After saving it should be instant right? Or am I missing something else?
I need to create a a couple dozen users that will need their own VM only extension. I am thinking creating the user with none chosen for extension type. Any thoughts or ideas for best practice doing this?
I would go:
0 transfer to your site operator
1 dial by extension
2 dial by name either first or last
3 for dept 1
4 for dept 2
5 for dept 3
etc.
then when they press 1, 2, 3 or what ever number have it go to another auto attendant menu with another list of actions like you want.
I can not get the music.wav file to load. I am sure it is in the right form and I have it in the file location on my laptop. But when I am connected to the IP Office and force reboot it does not load. Any thoughts?
It is embedded voicemail and the release is a newer release as it is a new install. Have created a short code that is a voicemail collect with target of one of the main users in the hunt group for dial 0 and will try the Short code for the fallback and try all suggestions, thank you all!
Also read there is a bug with the communicator on build 13.3, I had an issue with it doing it on mine. I went to a previous build and issue went away. When system was updated to newer build I updated communicator to that build level and no more issues.
I am not finding an answer to when inbound calls go to a hunt group then thru short code and overflow group busy etc, it goes to the Main AA and if none of the options are pressed and times out, I need it to go back to the main hunt group. Can someone help?
