I am running a Merlin Legend R7.0 v9.0 with Merlin Mail (not sure on version).
Trying to setup a calling group to put customers in a queue and play a delayed announcement and "Say thank you for waiting your call is important to us...." and also give them an option to leave a message at any...
Have one calling group say 775 and put all your three extensions within that group. Have the Calling Group type by Auto Logout: this sets up so if calls are not answered in about 5 rings it rings the next extension in that group. Set the Hunt type to be Linear so it rings from top to bottom...
Yes you can can make the selector codes go to the desired paging groups. These groups are programmed through #502 and are 71 - 74.
Feature 00 at extension 10 with a display phone.
Left Intercom button twice.
#502
1 for the first paging group.
Enter the extension #
Press 1 to assign.
Enter...
Only way this can be done is if the extension is an operator extension. All other extension only have access to the pool button but the operator has access to every individual line.
Have you tried and plugged directly it x20's port on the 308EC module and see if you get the same problem? If it doesn't go bad you know its a line problem going to the jack. If it does then its a bad port.
You can only swap out analog and digital extension ports by physically moving the wires around in the switch. Can't run digital on analog and vise-versa.
Is Cover Group 30 set up as the group in Calling Group 770. Then you need to add those extensions 11-17 into cover group 30.
Start, extensions, more arrow, cover group, 30 enter, 11 enter, 12 enter, 13 enter, 14 enter, 15 enter, 16 enter, 17 enter.
This should make the extensions go to VM.
Theres these two links and they have the Feature Tab that shows all the features that the Merlin is capable of.

Make sure that all the extensions are not assigned to hunt group 7 for the VM ports. If they are it will cause problems calling random extensions and no one on the phone.
Just do a #401 and option 2. This allows that every line they use can only call extensions but not to outside lines. They can still get calls external too.
