Failed to validate deployment profiles
For Future Reference: Bottom Line - Reboot Solved it.
No Changes to the MiCollab Server or MiVB but when trying to create a new user using BUP import spreadsheet (with just the one entry) it returns the error Failed to validate deployment profiles...
I have always had issues with analogue trunk settings; especialy Echo and Initial Delay
Years ago I set the following changes from the default:
Dis con timer 100
Calling Party Disconnect - No
Ringing expected - No
Release supervision expected - No
Audio Inhibit Until Answered supervision - No...

As IrwinMFletcher rightly says - it sounds like you want Music on Hold - MoH - (once the Mitel phone person has put them on hold)
Either an external MoH source (eg CD Player plugged into the Cinch (?) socket at the back of the Mitel plus a bit of programming to state that the music on hold...
RAD is the answer but I have always been sure that there is a better way to set them up than I know; hence perhaps someone elses input would be better.

It was simply a difference between SMDR showing a call as answered but by an extn that did a 'pick up' who was not in the group that the wallboard was reporting on.

so i am wallboarding(no relation to waterboarding) group 801 for ans calls
and running reports on same group for answered calls.
both set to only account for external calls
latest CCR 1.2.6.1, and ipo500 v2 sw 6.0.18,ccr licensed etc.
Hi I am having issues with the avaya ccr:
my wallboard is not reporting as many calls as my reports say. maybe 10% less.
i have tried to re-create issue but to no avail yet as it is a busy call centre.

Pakojones - The suggestions re ip address conflict/DHCP I think are the most likely. But beware that if you choose to execute the UpgradeBootrom E2T you must follow the advice in the release notes - If it isn't followed your Mitel will die beyond repair...
Apologies. We are on 9UR2 with 2.1.0.27 firmware
Due to the latest phone freeze Mitel have stated we should upgrade to 9 UR3.
(The mitel has a 49 day window of some sort and at the end of this period it may (or may not) close the conection/port to a phone thereby freezing the phone)
Since upgrading to 9UR3 and putting firmware 2.1.0.27 on the 5312's the occurrences have dramatically reduced.
For the first time in about 3 months, one phone has frozen - investigation using IPA (Analyser) is underway

Even after locking the HP port and Phone port speeds down to 100 full duplex error control ON, still happening.
Few and far between but there are still occasional reboots.
Have upgraded the Firmware again - Monitoring

Hp Switch was on a version that was noted for CRC errors etc
Upgraded switch to Latest (10) and (at the same time) locked all phones to Speed 100, Full duplex and Flow Control on and did the same with the HP switch ports...
2 Sites now on 9UR2 and both have 5312's freezing / rebooting - Also one extn with a 5312 we swopped for a 5212 - even that rebooted.
I have now locked phone ports to vlan2 (28thMay) and will provide update on progress

Mitel have advised with regards to the error log "fsm_rx_close_timedout" as below:
The FSM log is when the phone is on a call and it 'loses its connection to the controller. It doesnt give any clues as to why the phone disappears.

I have had no experience with DNIC's I'm afraid.
I have had call quality issues on (Global Crossing) Sips if the Compression licences haven't been added AND the system rebooted to activate them.
I tend to put the phones in Zone 2 and leave analogues in the same Zone as the SIPS (essential) so...
