I am not sure if I follow your second sentence. Additionally, couldn't I test the original scenario by terminating the voicemail using # (which I have tried unsuccessfully btw)?
I am trying to get an email to be sent after a message has been left in a group mailbox via a call flow. I am trying to accomplish this in the call flow, like this:
Start > Menu (opt 7) > Leave Mail (Success)> eMail
I cannot get it to email me anything.
I tested the email portion of it by...
I cannot say for sure that my problem is exactly the same, but I have had something similar happen. After modifying anything related to the AAs I had to delete both my AAUser and AAExt and recreate them. Everything worked again after doing this.
MRIPO, I had / still have the issue where IMS is scanning all mailbox folders and I am using v4.0.15. I think it must have something to due with a previous version being installed.
tlpeter,
I did not use LCR previously (at least that I was aware of), but I beliveve you are on to something. I had previously made a bunch of shortcodes that allowed the outgoing DID to be shown when calling our cell phones so we knew who (inside our office) was calling us. These are no longer...
I am having an issue with the Prefix setting on the line.
Currently users have to dial 9 to get an outside line, I should also mention that my area requires 10 digit dialing.
In the prefix of the line we had 91, this would enable calling a number back from the log on the phone. I have had to...
phantomiii, I had the same problem. I deleted and recreated the user account in question and when doing so it asked me if I wanted to create a new VOIP extension. (I believe the VOIP ext was the key here, you may just be able to create the ext with same ext as the user)
Other than using Bridged Appearance Buttons, does anyone know of a way to indicate if a user is one the phone.
For example, when I call another user and they are one the phone I would like a visual or audible idication that they are on the phone.
I am using a 412 v4.0.
I cannot remember the exact procedure but it is something like this. You need to copy those files and all of the DLLs and INIs into the Windows\System32 directory (or I suppose you could add 'C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Phone Manager' to your PATH statement.
TheDoz,
I don't know if this will apply to your situation or not but it is worth a try. Navigate to PhoneManager in the Start Menu, right-click and select Run As Administrator (regardless of your privileges). I have found that I need to run certain applications at least once this way. Usually...
*** SOLVED ***
I hate these kind of solutions, but here it is.
I had do delete and re-create all of my "Fwd" type user accounts (Not ALL user account) but all accounts that fwd to auto-attendants. For me it wasn't a bid deal, only 5 accounts. I hope this helps someone else.
-- update --
I have not solved this issue, but I did find something.
I changed the membership of the HFwdAADay hunt group to my extension (removed UFrwdAADay) and set my extension to unconditional fwd to the proper ext and it worked. I cannot see any difference between my ext (309) and 7132.
