For future reference, how would I accomplish that? I looked at ld 97 -> prt supl but it was greek to me. Given the time constraint I had at the moment, the ACD was easy to do.. but is it the *right* thing to do?
I think I may have figured it out. After reading (http://www142.nortelnetworks.com/mdfs_app/techdoc/enterprise/cs1000/R4_5/pdf/553-3001-311_21.00_SoftIO.pdf) it looks like all I need to do is use ld 23 to create an ACD for that particular DN.
So I basically did:
ld 11

I've come across a situation where I need to remove a DN from a phone (for an offsite employee) yet have that DN continue to be answered by Call Pilot.
The gap in my knowledge is how do I set up a dummy phone (is there such a thing?) without using a TN or setting up a phantom phone so the...
So, having never been though a LD 12 CHG session before, the first thing it asks me for is ERL. Can I just hit enter past all of the fields it asks me for until I get to KEY 16, or do I have to fill everything out with a printout from LD 20 -> PRT -> TNB, making the change where needed?
We just changed service providers for our customer service line and have a key programmed on the 2250 that auto dials that number.
In our system it's KEY 16 AUTO 91866xxxxxxx.
When I went to LD 20 to CHG type 2250, I get an error message SCH0111 (unexpected response). I'm guessing the 2250...
I think I answered my own question:
I didn't realize when you set a two-way hotline that when you specify a dn to connect to, that dn cannot be in use anywhere. So by setting say, hot d 4 1234 5678, the system automatically assigns 1234 to the first station and on the opposite station I set...
We recently went though layoffs and our CEO now has a new assistant who works at a different desk. Since moving the phone to a new TN is not an option (LONG story), I'm trying to set up the new phone with the two-way intercom.
The old phone is configured on key 6:
hot d 4 5214 5213 marp v 0...
