I've heard about a solution from Tiger Communications, they will deliver a gateway to connect to Fidelio as an example. But this will cost at least Euro 8000,- added to the Fidelio components, that's why I would like to understand if a direct integration is possible at all. Your answer start to...
Although there is a lot of talk about PMS connection between Mitel 3300 / MCD and hotel packages I'm unable to trace some details.
Would anyone have some information on which hotel packages can be connected DIRECT with IP with the Mitel 3300 systems? Fidelio should be one of them but I haven't...
There is no Mobile Extension SIP client. The client that is made available with ME 1.6 (Symbian / Windows Mobile), is provisioned through the MSL server with ME blade. All done through SMS. The client operates with a data connection based on WiFi / GPRS, voice goes through 3300.
Hope this adds.
Has anyone been involved in connecting a Mitel 3300 to an Avaya Communication Manager using SIP trunking? We need to deliver this for a future customer.
I'm looking for:
- has this been done?
- config info on Mitel and maybe Avaya
- minimal version an Avaya
- other specifics to watch?
Thanks...
kwbMitel, I think your description should solve my issue. If "Allow Dial Any extension" means you can dial any number on the 3300, this is what we need. I will try this asap to see if this is the solution.
Thanks.
Thanks kwbMitel, I was afraid that this was going to be one of the few options. Unfortunately I need to deliver something that offers "open" digits dialling to allow dialling to all possible internal numbers (3-digit. Same thing you can do with Nupoint, but embedded is not capable it seems. I...
We have a Mitel 3300 system with embedded voice mail. We want to create a situation where a customer calls into the system, hears "Press 1 for X, press 2 for Y or dial the extension number".
We've created a menu based on ACD functionaility with a RAD message and an interflow dialling list, this...
There is another "clean" way of doing this. You will need CIS (aka 6110) and ICC (aka 6115). Create a path with a path unavailable answer point to a extension in DND (ie IP phone / analog etc). Create a schedule with ICC that says if more than X calls place path in DND --> if that happens the...
Gomaze, there will be no 8.1.xx or whatsoever. I think this was a misinterpretation from the MS guy. 8.0UR3 will deliver (besides SIP interop with Exchange UM and LBG fro RCC) the SIP integration into mediation server for Enterprise voice connectivity (ie OC softphone). As the formal integration...
The big thing on teleworker is that this adds:
1. Teleworker supports a large adaptive jitter buffer both in the Mitel IP endpoint and in the Teleworker gateway to accommodate poor quality IP connections. The jitter buffer can handle RTT of up to 800ms while minimising added delays for low...
Mitelmatt, this is indeed supported but with the use of some common sense. See statement below. We have been installing customers in these environments with succes, so with the proper guidance it should all be ok.

Hope someone can help on this.
We need to connect to a Cisco CCM (version 5 I believe) based on DPNSS, as it is placed in a network of PBX's only capable of doing that.
We're not familiair on the exact (not marketing stuff....) features and capabilities of Cisco on this, Question are:
- what...
Thanks for the info up till now. Enough trunking indeed.
One key thing which I seem to miss.
In normal sitation the user at the branch office is directly reached by ARS translation, nut no IP trunk involved. How do I program the 2nd route, ie the route when the WAN fails so the PSTN route will...
The complete network is a cluster, so main office (MX) en CXi's are part of a cluster managed through Ent/OPS. IP trunking between all locations. But as said all users are connected to the MX in normal state and all DDI (DNIS) traffic is offered at the MX. Only in case of WAN failure users will...
Following scenario:
- Headquarter with MXe, PSTN connected
- 30+ branches equipped with CXi's, local PSTN for breakout
- 500 users across all these locations BUT in normal state connected to the central MXe
- sites connected through WAN
Normal situation:
- all DDI (DNIS) traffic arriving at MXe...
Had to post these 2 movies here as a sign of possible great integrations coming from Mitel:
Movie1: integration Mitel CIS / SunRay - MiCS server

Movie2: high level with some good music

Have fun.
The following link should help: http://sipdnld.mitel.com/
The link Mitel "SIP Phone 6.0 Release Notes" opens a document where there is a short description on the deployment of SIP phones through FTP.
Click Mitel "SIP Phone FAQ Link" and than "Mitel Configuration Guide (R6.0) Link". This opens...
