    rajkonig: you can implement either a dimensional or relational model on Teradata, I don't see anything that prevents dimensional modeling on their system

    We're also considering SQL Server for a new DWH. I'm not that familiar with either 2005 or 2008, but what strikes me (at least in 2005) is the lack of support for metadata. Otherwise I would think that it would be ok, SSIS is maybe not as sophisticated as other ETL tools out there and the end...
