Full backups in 10d sp4 jobs show logs truncated. And even the aplication event viewer shows logs removed in Windows 2003 SP2. But they remain still. Job completes sucessfully.
If I do an NTBACKUP from the server exchange 2003 server it works and the logs are removed.
What have I missed...
The out of office forwading feature includes some rules that allow the user to forward emails to an external address. This is bad and needs to be disabled. But the CEO would like to have out of office notifacations to still go out externally. So I need to block just the rules in out of office...
Why would you want to connect to mail server externally through a SMTP? It seems unsafe to me and you really should use OWA and publish with a forward server and some type of cert.
if you open the SMTP connection to non domain systems you become a forwarder for spamers.
