Hi All,
My company this is using a Definity 3Gsi. We have 3 PRI’s coming into the PBX in 2 trunk groups.
We would have a 2nd company that is currently sharing the PBX. We would like separate the 2nd company so that they have their own dedicated lines (no more than 12 lines). The goal is...
I have a situation where an employee left the company. We would like all incoming calls to still get her greeting and leave messages in her voice mail box. However we would like those messages to automatically forward to someone else's voice mail box.
Is this possible? If yes, how do I do...
Hi All,
I hope this post is not out of line.
A small luxury resort in the mountains of Colorado is looking for a consultant to help us management our Definity 3GSI & Intuity Hospitality systems. (We would rather not pay Avaya's extortion for their support.)
Our staff can handle the day to...

I am trying to call St. Croix (area code 340) the Definity is kicking me out after I dial the area code plus first three numbers. We can call all other area codes (as far as I know) as well as international calls.
Any ideas on what I need to change in the Definity?
Thanks for your help.
I have a G3si and need to have a DID number ring at a station that only has an internal extension.
How do I configure the switch to do this?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Thanks for responding. I did a third reload on the PIX and most of the errors went away. Where I am at now is that the username/password box on the client keeps popping up. I have changed the password on the PIX but that does not help.
Any additional help that you can offer is greatly...

I don't know for sure but more than likely they are all coming in on the same trunk group. We only have two trunk groups (one for each PRI). Everytime I've looked at the trunks all calls are arriving only on our first trunk group.
Is there a way to look at the history of calls arriving on...
We are starting to get many (approx 15 and growing) incoming calls that are coming into our operator listed on the display as just "Trunk Call". When our operator answers the call there is never anyone on the other end. Our trunks are PRI's so we usually get the correct callers info when a...
I had a user just delete an important Voice Mail message. Is there any way to retrieve a deleted voice mail message? or how can I see the Call Detail Records in the Definity without Call Accounting software?
Thanks
We have three call-appr buttons configured on each phone (6408D+). When the first two call-appr’s are in use, and a third call comes in it immediately goes to cover instead of ringing on the phone. Is this normal behavior? Is there a way to have all three call-appr ring to the phone without...
Our night station is currently manned from 6pm until 6 am. We are changing our staffing and would like to forward our night station calls to another extension from mid-night to 6am. So extension A will cover the night station from 6pm until midnight and extension B will cover night station...
I have a situation where we have a boss who wants all calls personally answered within three rings. We have two extensions that are covered by this request, the main number that rings at the front desk and the boss’s extension. There is also an executive assistant who is available to cover...
We have a Definity G3si for our hotel. Right now when a room is not checked in the phone has on property and local calling privileges. I would like to change the permissions so that an unchecked in room only can call on property. I have been unable to find the correct procedure to make this...
