You first have to look into your Interbase Log files - maybe your database is not active anymore for some reason. If all seems to be good, you will have to put traces into your application -- seems to be "disconnected" or something like that (not sure). Your query seems to point on a closed...- IBJulie

Do we have to keep Interbase?
We currently have around 100 - 150 customers. Each customer has his server and own database, of course. Some of them have a 3Go Database - some tables have 3 millions of records.
