I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere in the forums. I have searched quite a bit and cannot seem to find anything that will tell me what i need to know.
I would like to export the information found in Form 9, Desktop Device Assignments into a spreadsheet.
I've inherited an older...
Ok, False alarm. I figured out that CPN table meant Calling Party Number. I also learned that there is a second page of options under the Forms page.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I'm not 100% sure how to tell with Embedded/Card.
I have access to the web based portal for the phone system, and i have access to the console. Is the CPN Table something i can go back in and reconfigure?
I've reconfigured the CLID on a Nortel switch before, but this Mitel is like speaking...
I am running an SX-200_ICP_4.0.4.9 MX.
If a non DID station calls out, the outbound caller id shows the main number of the location. All of my DID lines show the 3 digit ext, i.e. 797, 502, etc. I'm mainly an Avaya guy, so finding my way around this Mitel box i've inherited has become quite...
Im running a Mitel SX200 system. I'm looking for a way to make it so that i can have multiple line appearances and be able to call out using the appropriate line when needed.
i.e. when i pick up line 507, outbound caller id shows 507
when i pick up 575, caller id shows 575.
Any ideas would be...
Im having an issue that has got me pretty stumped. i have 2 attendant consoles. the console are in a hunt group together. 5000 and 5001
If i try to make 2 calls in at the same time, one will get picked up and answered fine, but the 2nd one will continue to ring even though the attendant is...
I made the change, and now only 1 person at a time can be logged into the queue. i think it's because they login by using the ABR Dial list... instead of by just hitting Auto in.
Is there a document that explains in detail how to setup a call queue and vdn and vectoring in order to get this...
So i just have to set measured to Internal? Whenever i try that i get an error "object in use, please try later" Does everyone need to be logged out of the queue?
I have an Avaya Definity switch.
We recently purchased BCMS VU in order to do call tracking for one of our hunt groups.
I've got the whole client/server portion setup, but i'm hitting a snag on getting the server to pull information from the switch.
The root of the problem seems to be that...
It said that the extension was not found.
I apologize for not knowing exactly how to say what i'm looking for... i'm still pretty new at this.
I understand that the DID numbers are provided by the Telco.
but i was thinking that there was something in the switch that says, if a call comes in...
Here's where i think the problem originated.
At one point, i called my pbx vendor in order to have the DID number 304-269-0521 routed to an external number. He came back after attempting to do so, and told me that he couldn't make a DID that started with a 0 ring anywhere except to te...
Here is what i got
Active Station 8842 cid 0xca

I am Dialing the full number. 1-555-555-0521. if i were to try to dial just 0521, it would go straight to the operator, because it interprets te 0 as a call to the operator. I cannot paste a trace as i'm not using a terminal emulator, i'm using a terminal connected directly to the switch.
I have a phone line, that is 555-555-0521. This number was, until recently, a DID number... I had Verizon convert it to a POTS line, and install it at a different location.
When i call this number from my cell phone, it rings right where it's supposed to. If i call it from any extension...
