New Windows 2003 user, new mailbox, never used. The username was misspelled. Deleted the user account before deleting the mailbox. Exch cant delete the mailbox because the account cant be found on the DC. Added the new user, correctly spelled so that user could login. Tried adding the misspelled...
Are the potential dangers as bad as MS make them out to be or is it that easy to @*^% up?
"may require you to reinstall Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, or both Windows and Exchange" is stronger...
I cant imagine why usernames are alphabetized by first name instead of last name in AD. Kind of a pain. But whats worse is Exchange picks that up in the GAL.
Is there a way to change it so usernames are alphabetized by last name?
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Cool. Consultant is telling me doing this is frought with problems, siezing the roles of DC1 being the problem. Im in the middle of the network upgrade, about to configure the second DC now.
Im checking with you guys if I am getting bad info.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918583
But Blue Horizon is correct about the...
While browsing files and folders on the NT4 PDC/file server in prep for moving data to Windows Server 2003 network, I noticed something odd. A number of files and folders show last modified dates of "12/31/99 7:00 PM". The odd part is one file in particular that I know wasnt on that server until...
Leaning towards Mozy Pro for the file server. But Mozy cant do mailbox restores, only full db. iBack was recommended. Whats the consensus on either?
Thank you. Thank you very much.
There is no user-level security in Access 2007. I guess thats done with the integration of Sharepoint and its security. Is it ok to leave the back end in the old format and use the 2007 front end?
Thank you. Thank you very much.
