It is not possible to setup a trust because the other domain is a seperate company that this person works for. We do not have access to the other domain controller to setup a trust.
I'm trying to add a Windows 2000 PC to another domain. Is there a way that you can add a Windows 2000 Professional PC to multiple domains? If it is possible can you tell me how.
Thanks in advance.
At my company we have a bunch of laptops that go out and connect to hotel wireless networks and regular wired networks. The wired networks aren't a problem because we can still restrict their permissions. But with the wireless connections XP makes you have admin rights to change network...
You can make sure "Automatically adjust clock for Daylight saving changes" is unchecked then it won't mess around with the time its getting from the server.
Thanks for the info guys. I'll definitely look into them.
What kind of performance draw backs are there? Is it really noticeable that its slower because of the encryption or would people probably not even notice?
At my company we are going to be deploying laptops with off-line folders to be synchronized with certain network drives.
If anybody has used any type of encryption and synchronization software out there please let me know what you think about it. I would rather not use Windows built in...

I'm talking more about the outgoing network traffic on our T in terms of how the message is sent to all those external users. if it was going to 50 external users would the message be sent out 50 times? So the outgoing traffic for a 1mb email would be 50mb...

i'm referring to where the actual email gets duplicated, to go out to the people ... where in the process of sending mail does the actual email and its attachments get duplicated to go to the email addresses (many outside email addresses not in house...

For example: lets say someone sends a 1MB email...
you can use the tzedit.exe utility available from MS for the XP SP1, 2000, ME, NT, 98. there is also a script that MS provides on their KB that you can use for the 2000 machines. we have used the script and it works very well. we have also used the tzedit.exe for NT machines.
good luck with it

the table is 100% width. the td is 300px there is one other applet above the yahoo thing and it is 300px wide (same as the yahoo thing) the other td is just the rest of the window.
I am developing a news page with different rss feeds and outside applets loading in. I have one applet coming in from yahoo finance that displays stock information. The code that they give adds it using iframes.
