on the bcm 50 the violet slate is port 401 which would be ext 221 then the next up would be port 402 which would be ext 222 403 and so on up to port 412. the top of the block which is white/blue would be the incoming line 61 then white/orange line 62 up to line 64 those would be your 4 incoming...

yea i had the same thing we got 3 bad systems one right after another they have a release date that is bad. you need to get either a newer or older release. because the one that you have the lines wont break dial tone unless you have it to pulse.

Actually we got 3 bad systems they were all released on the same date which i believe is 2007/28 im not positive because we already sent them back but like i said we got three that were bad with the same problem on the same release date so they sent us out a older version and it works just fine.
Alright guys well both of these BCM 50s were manufactured on the same date and nortel finally is going to send out another new BCM 50 from another manufacturing date so they are calling them OBF so thanks alot for everyones help.
Yea we have changed all the line treatments and the OHMS from 600 to 900 and from long to short to medium in all kinda combinations. it just seems to grab that funky dial tone.
Im having the same problem whenever the reporting for call center attempts to download the information it acts as if it is downloading but its not gathering any information. or it will say unable to establish connection.

yea it doesnt sound smooth like the regular dial tone does. this one sounds more high pitched. so you guys replaced the BCM dang i was hoping i wouldnt have to do that.
here is the craaazzzyyy part the lines from telco are fine i checked those a few times to be sure. but heres an example if i try to make a call from the phone i dial the number and i get dial tone and the end of the string. BUT if i dial the # with the buttset on then the call will go through...
No its a release 2 i applied the one patch that they have out for it not that it has anything to do with lines. but it just seems like every other call will have a different sounding dial tone and act as if the system doesnt recognize the dial pad.

we have a new BCM 50 i just put it the Client patch. The system is acting funny they have 3 lines and if i pick up line 63 it works if i hang up and dial again the dial tone will sound different and the cal wont go through. its like the dial pad doesnt work.
