Okay I've decided to go with the 9508 on a wall mount in the lobby. After setting the short code in the user profile to ?D to Dial my extension, I pick up the phone and it says right away "We're sorry, your call can not be completed as dialed".
We have an Avaya IP Office v2 rls 11 and would like to place a 9508 phone outside in the lobby to be used only to page a set of employees inside, mainly for delivery people to let us know they're out front. I don't want this phone to be able to make or receive calls or allow anyone to access...
kwing, I am logged in as Administrator.
sizbut, A Vendor did the install 3 years ago. They asked for a beefed up server(for one-X and VMPro) and one not so beefed up(CCR). It's been handling everything just fine.
I was hoping someone here has gone through this and is able to provide a solution(not starting over). I'm really the only one in the company that's using one-X anyways so I'm not pressured to get this up and running. If it was just the one-X application on it then yes I would just start over...
Yes Okkie, javaw.exe is in the syswow folder.
derfloh, What do I expect? I don't know maybe a more constructive solution than the obvious start all over from scratch.
Just checked the logs under the apache-tomcat folder and noticed every time I try to start the service these logs are entered;

One-X installed on WinServer 2008 with VMPro as well. Can't remember if I updated Java or not when the issue started but getting an error message when trying to start the service.

We have Avaya IP Office v8.1 and wondering if we have the ability to see the phone numbers that called in to our Conference bridge. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!
OK, opened all ports inside the VPN. Still having the same issue. I get an error message on the softphone after i try to login, "IP office softphone has experienced a problem and needs to close. Would you like to send us an error report so we can improve our service?".
We recently got an IP Office 8.1 installed in our network and have been dealing with Avaya trying to get the softphone to work over a standard PPP VPN using TMG 2010. They've had the ticket opened for almost 2 months now with randomly asking for traces every other week. I was wondering if anyone...
Sorry forgot to mention, if I dial this extension within the office the redirect works. It's when an outside caller calls the DID, he then gets that message.
