Error 2013 on Insert on a junction table

Hello All, I'm new to Mysql and am having some trouble. I'm trying to insert into a junction table, "action_x_recipient", and I'm getting a 2013 error code. When I run the query w/o the insert, it runs fine. Basically we get a big data dump (over 8 million rows) which I need to move into...

Crystal Label report - need footer on each label in same position

Mike-you got me thinking more about the details and the suppression option and I came up with a solution after looking at the data- since the dynamic fields do not exceed 2 lines, and since each detail has a different size font, I added a details section (d and e) with suppression formulas for...

Crystal Label report - need footer on each label in same position

Thank you for the suggestion Mike- it seems I'd forgotten to add the most important part- unfortunately, the lines (line 1, line 2, etc.) can grow. I actually have the label set up as you suggested, but can't seem to find a way to make the final detail line print at the bottom of the label due...

Crystal Label report - need footer on each label in same position

Greetings, Feeling a bit dim-witted here...I'm working on a label report in Crystal 9 which needs to print a barcode on the bottom of each label regardless of how long the name and accompanying info is (which needs to be positioned at the top of the label and grow downward). Like this...

Deleted field rises from the grave

That was it!!! There was one little query in the Access DB that was still calling the removed 'Bounced?' field. And when I deleted the field in the Access query, the reports stopped asking for it! That's so strange as the query was never a part of the report. Crazy. Thank you so much!

Deleted field rises from the grave

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. I tried making the 'Bounced?' field a text and even a date/time field and the report doesn't care or highlight the field. This is the case even on the ReportCopy. So I get the prompt regardless of field type, and I still am unable to locate where the field is...

Deleted field rises from the grave

Thanks to all for the efforts so far... Well, I've tried to export the report definition, but can't get it to work. It requires the disk (which took us awhile to find) and the one we found doesn't help even when I point it to the file it's looking for. So I'm currently unable to export the...

Deleted field rises from the grave

NiteClerk- thank you, but unfortunately, this didn't do the trick. Additionally when I look at the report explorer, the field does not appear. -------- lbass- I am prompted in the 'Enter Parameter Values' box, under 'Parameter Fields:' it appears as 'Contacts.[Bounced?]' -------- I created...

Deleted field rises from the grave

Yes, I verify the database, it recognizes that the table has changed, says it is up to date, and then I get the prompt for Contact.Bounced? as a Parameter Value when I try to run the report.

Deleted field rises from the grave

    1. No- the only Selection Criteria is based on cst_add_date being >= a Parameter Date field 2. No- there are no subreports

Deleted field rises from the grave

I am running Crystal 9.2.0.448 against an 2003 Access DB and am pulling fields from two tables. The problem is that one of the fields (contacts.bounced?), which was removed from the report and also from the DB is now appearing as a parameter. When I open the Field Explorer to see if the field...

Multi-User Access 2003 errors for (XP pro, office 2007, ie8) user

Hello, I have a multi-user Access 2003 database with front and back end security that has been working just fine for everyone. One power user was recently upgraded to Office 2007, and there have been issues ever since. I believe everyone else is still running 2003. This latest one happens...

Query pullinig info in Access, but not passing it to outside report

Do you have them compact automatically, or do you do so manually? And how often?

Query pullinig info in Access, but not passing it to outside report

Wow, that's super helpful. Thanks dhookem. I'm quite new to Access and hadn't heard of a pass through before. It works! It still takes a bit more time than I'd like-around 45 seconds. Is there anything else I can do to help speed the process? Thank you

Query pullinig info in Access, but not passing it to outside report

I actually have a similar post in the CR section, but with no replies as yet. I tried creating a much simpler version of the query in CR, linking through Access, and it had similar problems. If I hook directly to the original SQL DB I'm able pull the data, but not in combo with the data I need...

Query pullinig info in Access, but not passing it to outside report

I'm using Microsoft Access 2003 and running a report off of it in Crystal. The report is pulling data from a query, which in turn is getting it's data from both internal and linked tables. There are four "tables" in the query, the first is a query that is based on internal tables. The...

    Pass Date Formula to SP

Hey there ?s- If it is using the correct stored procedure, doing what the new SP is set up to do, namely use yesterday, than it did update. Go back into "Set Datasource Location" and(in the upper pane) open the SP that appears to be incorrect. Open up it's properties. It will show you the...

Crystal not reading all fields in View

Hello all, my problem is quite similar to one- yet unanswered- post from another fellow titled "Business View Problem." However, I'm sporting Crystal 9.2.0.448 and running it against a Microsoft Access 2003 DB. (The Access DB is in turn linked to another SQL DB). I have the report looking at...
