Hey been a network engineer for about 6 years. I have an interview coming up next week. I did a preliminary interview and did well, but was told I would need to talk to RCDD standards in this next phased interview... not necessarily know it inside out. Any pointers on things of significance...

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

djwht... I found the LD(87) in the gob of books I have. I ended up using DN 55. I did this so I could utilize the same FLEN that was already in place. All works great!! I really appreciate all the help from each and every one of you guys. Ace, dj, big and john. I am going to push to go...

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

we used to utilize 4-XXXX, 2-XXXX and 6-XXXX for on base to on base dialing. all of those are config'd as DN 4 DN 2 DN 6 TYPE CDP TYPE CDP TYP CDP STCD DSC STCD DSC STCD DSC So I am assuming that config'ing DN 55 TYPE CDP STCD DSC would solve the...

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

you are right on with your question. We used to dial the last digit of our prefix (554-1000 = 4-1000) now they want us to dial 554-1000 and have eliminated 4-1000 capabilities.

I think it's 4. our AC2 is actually 94 for DSN or formerly Autovon for Military worldwide.

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

55 is showing unused currently since we got rid of call park. we used to dial 6-XXXX to access on base numbers. The DN 6 is set up as: DN 6 TYPE CDP STCD DSC I'd like ot utilize the unused DN 55 in the same fashion and see what it gives me. Don't know where to start. How would I implement...

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

misspoke... our DN are associated with TNs... the only DN's that don't have an association are 50-55. Those are the only ones with TYPE PARK. Everything else is TYPE 500. thanks

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

DNB shows DN 55 TYPE PARK I looked and the only thing that shows me how to dump a Park is to know the TN... well there is no TN associated with DN. Our switch is configured with ICM numbers which equate to our DN's(ex: 328 is associated with TN 15 3)... so how can I out DN 55. We noticed...

    Colorado Nortel Option 11C...

acewarlock.. think we may have stumbled upon something. Our mission was to use the straight 7 digit dialing scheme... that just so happened to include 554 and 556 prefixes. Looking at LD 20 and the DNB, we found that 55 is in call Park. How can I do away with that. I think this would enable...
