To clarify the above:
Soft phone regs to net reg 1 and works perfectly
Desk set regs to net reg 62 and sends me off to the "Welcome to Avaya Messaging. Please enter the mailbox number of the person you are calling..." greeting

Ok so I think I am onto something here. It seems to be something in the networking. If I use a soft phone the damn thing works like a charm. If I log it out and let the desk set re-register it misbehaves...
btw the OHV/tracing is all good...no change

I see other calls and activity fine. Funny thing is when I got into OHV this morning it was before hours so system was super slow. Watched port monitor to see where I was hitting and even tried to do a historical to look at only that mas/port and nothing was there. Really strange...
Sounds like it's hitting it b/c of the recording I get...tracing on all and server is running. Live view looks to be showing everything. I think this system just hates me lol!

texeric,
No multi site as it is an LSP of the existing system. I do have access to OHV now and needless to say I don't even see myself hitting it when dialing the ext and routing to coverage...frustrating since I know I am getting to the MM, just not the correct place.
I can call the pilot...
PG,
the range is in both priv & pub in the pbx and in the MSS system.

Installed a new LSP with its own range of DID numbers, built mailboxes for each on already working MM 3.1 (w MSS). Instead of personal greetings the caller hears "Welcome to Avaya Messaging. Please enter the mailbox number of the person you are calling..." once they do this, the call does end up...
Has anyone out there gotten the IPSoftphone to work on a Vista VMware machine? I can get it to work in either mode to take over the phone, but Road warrior will not come up. I get a pop up that the VM machine cannot see that it has a headset attached (although it is there when you look in device...
Do you have an application server and a one-x server? I believe you will need both of these to run the client on the mobile phone. (if not both at least the one x mobile server)

Thx Mitch672,
It is passing thru the inbound callers caller id instead of the group number.
Heres the break down
ext 1 & 2 = boss 1
ext 3 & 4 = boss 2
ext 5 & 6 = shared secretary
1st hg has ext 1,2,5,6
2nd hg has ext 3,4,5,6
3rd hg has ext 5,6
when the ec passes the call out, it needs to...
Here's my scenario:
I have three different hunt groups with two members each. I need to have the caller id the extenisons send out be the DID number of the hunt group not their extensions. Is this even possible?
TIA :)

Once upon a time I had an excel workbook planner for the Merlin. Does anyone out there have something along these lines? I need to build from scratch and needless to say it's been a while since I've even touched a Magix/Legend. (everyone seems to go with ipo these days). It's much easier than...
Unfortunately I don't have 4.2. We're not a beta. But the client is not going to agree to another upgrade at this point. They are a 24 hr shop and we just did the .12 two days before .15 came out GRRR. It was a huge ordeal since we had to swap the 406 to begin with (memory) & their closet is a...
That doesn't make sense to me as it all worked just fine before the upgrade & phone swap out. That is the only thing that has changed.
Is there a difference in the ports that are used between 3.2 & 4.1 with the app?

Have you tried doing a board renumber? Maybe it sees the wrong card in that slot. If you print the system setup are the correct board in there?

Upgraded to 4.1 and replaced 4624 with a 5610. One remote extension is having problems with CRM locking up. All local users are fine and dandy.
Remote user can make 1-2 calls then it freezes and you have to actually go into task manager and shut down the ap & restart it. Any ideas?
It worked...
Well fellas the display issue ended up being a result of the Cisco PIX. Had the network folks run:
no fixup protocol h323 h225 1720
no fixup protocol h323 ras 1718-1719
Then rebooted the system and wellah! Now the problem is with the CRM locking up. User can make 1-2 calls then it freezes and...
Jamie,
Tried both reset & clear. No luck there. No other 5610 at this point (it's a remote phone). I'm going to try Matt & tlpeter's suggestions tonite. I've about had it with this phone lemme tell ya GRRR. I'll let you all know how it goes!
