I'm having a real hard time with this one. I'm simply trying to get the softphone working with MiCollab. It works for a while, sometimes days at a time, then out of nowhere, the softphone goes offline with the error message "SIP Softphone Authentication Failure" with a connect button next to it...
Thanks for the help guys. All I needed to do was login, by doing the following.
create login code for ehdu user - user and device config > user pin = device login code
call EHDU login number, hear tone, dial ext#, followed by login code, press #, then you'll get system dial tone, then hang up...
I do know our other user checks his voice mail remotely from time to time. This would be nice to have for this other user, but I'm mainly concerned with simply being able to dial ext 131 and it transferring to his cell phone.
I was under the impression a vm mailbox was required. I'm not sure what the alternative would be. This is how we have the other EHDU no device user setup.
I have setup a new VM mailbox with ext 131, added this to user and device config, enabled hot desk user, and put in the hot desk prefix and number. This VM mailbox is not tied to a device. It's sole purpose is to forward to the EHDU number. When I dial the user's extension, it goes straight to...
Yes. I made a new extension 147 for this since 116 is a VM mailbox as well I'm not sure if that will effect it.
Server is local: yes
Account: 147 (DN #)
Password: (pin set in user and device config)
Account Name: SHIP (not sure about this one, I Just used the directory name I chose in user and...
Yes I see it says 5610 SIP for device. SIP device capabilities index is set to 68. The extension I'm attempting to set it to is 116. There used to be a 5312 IP phone for extension 116, but it's been disconnected. Yes the user pin has been configured. I changed the device to 5610 SIP, but how do...
I'm trying to add a new 5610 cordless to the system. I can get it to register with the gateway, but I can't seem to figure out how to provide it an extension. Under user and device configuration I see that I can add/change devices and directory numbers. On regular IP phones I can add the MAC...
I turned BLF - Busy Indication Based on Set Enabled under System Options to Yes and it's working now, thanks!
What I don't understand is I didn't touch this option at all and it was working fine then all of a sudden it stops working.
Wow I just found out that many of the extensions are now not lighting up. The only extensions that light up properly are the ones that are single line. All the multiline extensions do not.
No there are multiple phones/extensions that are multiline. The extension we are unable to see light up when busy is multiline. All of the other extension lights work properly. What I meant was the extension does not light up on either of the two phones I tested, even though it is set for...
Is the extension a multicall while the others are not?
Yes the extension is multicall. I tested it on 2 different extensions, one of which is multicall, the other single line, and they both do not work.
Sorry it's a 3300. I don't think it's failing because it's not working on any of the phones and again the extension blinks when the phone rings. However I did check under Remote Busy Lamps section and the extension is listed.
For some reason the busy lamp stopped lighting up for a specific extension on all of the phones. Other extensions still light up.
I checked the mult-line set keys and it is set as DSS/Busy Lamp for Line Type. When the extension rings it will flash but when the extension is on the line it does...
I'm a bit confused. You say to route it to the VM. Wouldn't the VM be the extension number of the VM mailbox? The VM mailboxes have 1st alternative routes to '500', maybe that's what you're talking about?
Also, what do you mean by route? Setup call rerouting or do you mean add it as a member?
I ended up getting the message indicator to go away by dialing 500 and there were no messages. Not too sure about the RAD ports but it's fine for now since I receive/listen to VM properly when it's directly to the VM mailbox extension.
Someone was able to successfully do it by using the hunt group method in this thread:

I was trying to replicate what he did, maybe I misunderstood, or configured it incorrectly.
Yes I believe it is the embedded voicemail and I see your point but I thought that was the purpose of the overflow point. It will successfully transfer to another VM Mailbox Extension but instead of picking up the voicemail like it would if I dialed that extension directly, it just loops the...
I left a test message on the Global Voicemail directory number 500 which goes to all the phones and when I check it on one of my extensions the phone LCD displays "RAD Failure" and the messages signal continues to flash. This was after the voicemail was listened to and deleted on another...
