I have a user that uses WordPerfect and she is getting an error when she tries to open WordPerfect. When I am logged in under a domain admin password I do not have this problem. She has local admin rights to the box.
Any suggestions besides making her a domain admin?
How can I create a button that will execute a crystal report?
I know how to create a button on a form but what should I use to tell it to execute a report?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Heather
That is kind of where I was going with that already. My difficulty is that I have a parameter for the query and I only want the user have an ending sum up until the end date that the user specifies.
Yes, I have a balance field in the table that the report uses.
The problem is I want to view data from start date to end date but I want it to balance from the start of the dates in the table to the end date specified for the report. Does that makes sense?
Does access have a way to add a calander pop up to the form in a date field so that it populates the form with the date chosen on the calander?
Thanks,
Heather
I have a report that I want to work like a check register. The user enters data into a form, date, amount, whether it is a check or a deposit etc.
The report is based on a query with a parameter for the date and I want it to calculate the sum in the report for a specified amount of time. I...
Right now, any kind of report and any kind of parameter. I just want to see something similar working so that I can expand on it. I am having difficulty using the crystal.net features.
I was reading the crystal reports.net programming book by bischof and at the end I just noticed that he says...
Does any one have or know of a good example of a .net page that allows a user to enter a parameter from a report and then export the report with that value to html format? Or something similar that would get me there?
Thanks,
Heather
So I downloaded your product and I checked out the report that runs in bursting and that is great. I wanted to test it with our report and I have the group level 1 header that contains the parameter field, what formula needs to be in that? I see that you have a formula for yours does that need...
I see that you have an application that shows some similar capabilities? Does your app do this? Does your demo show this ability prior to purchase?
Thank you,
Heather
Yes, I do mean automate this process.
I am using a SQL ODBC Connection
The report is grouped by department (which takes parameters) and then I have other fields that retrieve data from that department on the issue #, Status, priority, contact information, assisned to.
So, I need an html file...
Does anyone know how to dynamically export a report to html. I want a new page for each parameter and each of those named differently. I know that I can export and choose each page but I have to do that manually for each parameter. How can I automate this?
I have Crystal 8.5 developer.
Thanks
